Today's Recommended JobsWe have 15 new, amazing, opportunities for you on the site today including working on a MAJOR FEATURE FILM, working on a HETV Drama Series, or permanent jobs in various Post Houses and Production Companies. There are three URGENT jobs.... A Production Manager at Sony Pictures has contacted us to help them source Grip Trainees, DIT Trainees and Camera Trainees for their latest Major Feature Film! This is an amazing opportunity to work on a high level film, which will no doubt gain an international audience, and will give you an incredible credit and epic contacts. Filming takes place in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, and you'll need to be based locally. Previous experience is helpful but not essential. The start date is likely to be 16th September you need to APPLY ASAP as they will be reviewing CVs as they come in!!! If you would like to work on a HETV Drama there are several opportunities but here I'll emphasise the Production Office PAs that the Production Coordinator has asked us to help them find. This is a high-end drama series in London, hiring junior crew for the office. Paid, and experience at this level is a bonus rather than a requirement, but you'll need to show production genuinely interests you. They want to know who's around and keen, so tell them now rather than later. These are highly recommended opportunities with a great contact! Finally: Permanent Runner an award-winning offline editing house in London is looking for a permanent Runner. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a career in off-line editing and it is a paid, permanent, way in! Best move: a short application that names what you've cut, even rough personal stuff, and says why editing. Get it in today, because people read these as they land and start picking a shortlist straight away. If you have any questions about any of the opportunities or would like any advice regarding your career, please feel free to email me anytime. Best wishes, Jess |
