Today's Recommended Jobs
Another week and another wide variety of jobs and work experiences for you to consider today. Here are some that we would particularly like to draw your attention to...
Art Assistant:
A Production Designer on an NFTS graduate Stop Motion Animation Production is looking for a hands-on Art Department Assistant and Art Director.
You'd work alongside the Production Designer building sets, props and the small physical details that stop-motion lives or dies on, so there's making, painting and finishing in roughly equal measure.
It suits anyone with a genuinely visual or crafty background. The one thing worth doing before you hit send: put together a tight set of images of things you've actually made, not just drawn.
This is the leading UK Film School and these experiences on NFTS Production always come highly recommended as they bolster your CV and allow you to make excellent contacts.
VFX Work Experience:
One of the biggest Visual Effects and Animation Houses in the business is offering work experience opportunities - no experience required!
You'll work to a real brief plus sit in on sessions on concept art and CG modelling.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity so we suggest you APPLY NOW!
Prop Designer:
This a permanent design job with a BAFTA-winning CG Animation Studio, one of the largest in the country.
As Prop Designer, you'll design props and sets to match the style of the show, taking them from rough concept through to final approved designs under the Art Director's supervision. You'll research and sketch based on story and staging needs, work closely with the Design and Asset departments, and manage your own time to hit deadlines.
Junior 3D Lighting and Compositing Artist:
The same BAFTA-winning Animation Studio is looking for a Junior 3D Lighting and Compositing Artist. Junior-level entry into a proper pipeline is rare, and the reel that arrives first gets the longest look, so we suggest you apply as soon as you can if you're interested.
If you have any questions about any of the opportunities or would like any advice regarding your career, please feel free to email me anytime.
Best wishes,
Jess
