Today's Recommended JobsHi Everyone, There are some great opportunities across the whole scope of the industry available on the site today so we encourage you to take a look. In the meantime, you must take a look at these two very popular voluntary positions... A nationwide Film Festival wants readers to go through competition scripts and judge what's working and what isn't. It's unpaid and volunteer-based, but learning to read a screenplay properly and say why it does or doesn't land is a skill that follows you into development, agenting and producing for the rest of your career. This opportunity will suit anyone who already reads scripts for fun and wants it on a CV. Best thing you can do before you hit send: write a short, honest paragraph on a script or film you've read recently, saying what you'd change. That shows judgement far better than a list of modules. They're going through CVs as they arrive, so today beats tomorrow - APPLY NOW for these highly recommended opportunities! Feature Documentary Work Experience: A London Production Company working in Documentary Features and Factual TV is taking people in to see a documentary built from the first idea through to delivery. No experience needed if you genuinely care about factual. Placements like this get snapped up as the applications come in so best apply asap. If you have any questions about any of the opportunities or would like any advice regarding your career, please feel free to email me anytime. Best wishes, Jess |
