Today's Recommended Jobs
Hi Everyone,
From the new jobs on the site today, here are 3 top recommendations...
Trainee Costume Assistants
A major TV Production Company is looking for two Trainee Costume Assistants to work on one of their continuing Drama Series' on a six-month fixed term contract.
As a Trainee Costume Assistant, you'll prepare and maintain costumes, handle repairs and minor alterations, and make sure cast and supporting artistes are dressed and ready for their call times, across studio and location shoots.
This is an entry-level role, so previous costume experience isn't essential, but you will need to be able to sew and show some creative flair.
If you'd like to pursue a career within the Costume Department, this is a highly recommended opportunity providing you with great experience and contacts - it's not to be missed!
Costume trainee spots on long-running drama don't hang about, so get yours in.
Film Creative Agency Work Experience:
An award winning Creative Agency is offering one month-long placements working in film advertising.
You'd get a look across the whole chain: production and producing, editing, motion graphics and the finishing end of post.
It's aimed at graduates and career changers who want ground-level experience rather than a title, and it suits anyone still deciding what role they would like to pursue.
Best thing you can do with your application is say which of those departments you're most curious about and why, because a vague "any department" email reads like it was sent to fifty places. Get yours over the line today!
Freelance Runners:
An award-winning VFX studio in London, covering film and episodic work is always on the look out for Freelance Runners.
All opportunities are paid, with dates confirmed as jobs come up.
Runner work inside a VFX house is one of the few genuine ways into the industry, and the names on that list get rung first. Be on it before they need someone.
If you have any questions about any of the opportunities or would like any advice regarding your career, please feel free to email me anytime.
Best wishes,
Jess
