Post Production: The Other Side of CUT!

Thursday October 22nd at 7:00pm EDT

Tom Flores walks through what actually happens once the camera stops rolling — how footage moves from set to edit, who touches it along the way, and where a new person realistically fits in. You'll understand how the post chain is staffed, what the entry-level jobs really involve day to day, and why the hours get long at the back end of a schedule when everyone else has wrapped and post is still delivering.

Useful if you're weighing up post as a career, or if you've been applying to edit and VFX roles without a clear picture of how the department runs.

This workshop is for ALL MFJF Members. You do NOT need to be a PRO Member to join this workshop.

His credits include Smallville, Southland, Charlie’s Angels, Witches of East End, Mad Dogs, The Shannara Chronicles, Queen of the South, Training Day, Swamp Thing, Titans, and Gotham Knights.

A self-described chief problem solver, creative fixer, and occasional magician, Tom brings resourcefulness and a practical perspective to getting the job done.
